2025 Yoga for Good: That’s a Wrap

If 2025 taught us anything, it’s that magic happens when you mix yoga, good people, and a mission worth rolling your mat out for.
As we rolled up our yoga mats and bid farewell to our final Yoga for Good class of the year last week, I couldn’t help but take a deep breath of gratitude for everything we’ve accomplished together. Yoga for Good 2025 has been filled with partnership, purpose, and plenty of heartwarming moments.
Celebrating a Year of Community Impact
We’ve had the joy of supporting six incredible organizations, each doing amazing work right here in our community. From cheering on the girls of Girls on the Run Maine to sharing a green toast with Portland Greendrinks, flowing beside the eco-guardians at Friends of Casco Bay, practicing mindfulness with the wonderful folks at Sea Change Yoga, celebrating friendship and inclusion with Best Buddies Maine, and hitting the trails (and the mats) with Portland Trails enthusiasts. Each month had its own flavor — a new mission to rally behind, a new story to learn, and a new reminder that caring for ourselves can be part of caring for our community.
Between the warm coffee, the cozy space at Toad&Co, and the chorus of friendly hellos, our Friday mornings felt like a little ritual of joy. Every class reminded us that yoga isn’t just about the poses — it’s about the people, the causes, and the ripple effects of kindness.
Yoga for Good 2026: A New Chapter Begins
As we look ahead to the new year, we’re excited to shake things up in the best way. Many of the things you’ve come to know and love will stay the same — a 45-minute Friday morning practice at 8 a.m. (now on the second Friday of each month), goodies and in-store discounts — but instead of giving a little to many organizations, we’re deepening our impact by giving more to fewer organizations. This shift lets us follow the story of our impact as it grows month by month.
Adaptive Outdoor Education Center
I’m thrilled to announce our first partner of 2026: the Adaptive Outdoor Education Center. AOEC’s programs bring people into nature in ways that are healing, empowering, and deeply inclusive — a mission that connects beautifully with both Toad&Co and Ashley Flowers Yoga. All three of us believe that movement, community, and time outdoors can change lives, especially when those experiences are accessible to everyone. Partnering with AOEC feels like a natural fit, rooted in our shared commitment to well-being, connection, and the simple joy of being outside together.
Yoga for Good 2026 Quarterly Non-Profits
For the first four months of the year, AOEC will be the recipient of your Yoga for Good donations, and each month we’ll support a different program they’re bringing to life. We can’t wait to dive deep with you — supporting our own well-being while uplifting those in our community who could use a hand up.
