Meredith Hawkins
Yarmouth, Maine native Meredith is a student of Boston College who will soon be embarking on field research in Argentina. It is her passion about the how individuals interface with the collective that led her to both her studies in yoga and her academic studies in Ethics and International Social Justice. In her own words “societal healing begins with healing ourselves and our relationship to the self and to others”. Erica Marcus
Woodlands Club members and their friends are fortunate to have founder of WiseMinds. BigHearts. and author of Daily Mindful Minis Erica Marcus taking over Thursday Night Yoga classes while I am away! Erica is an inspiring yoga teacher and meditator, the kind of person whose mere presence is calming.
As a student of yoga she describes asana practice as “an opportunity to cultivate a deep connection with, and understanding of, oneself through physical practice”. As a yoga teacher her intention “is to facilitate an experience where each student can make their own meaning of practice”.
Haley Brandt
Haley, featured in Maine magazine for mindfulness and outdoor activities, started teaching yoga in Acadia National Park and is passionate about “the wholesome and gentle elixirs nature has to offer”. The outdoors have instilled a sense of healing, gratitude, and fierce compassion into her practice and classes.
Haley is a 200 RYT and holds an undergraduate degree in holistic health and dancing. She was brought up with mindfulness and meditation as a part of life. Haley brings the vibrant, and peaceful energy of the desert to her classes along with academic knowledge of healthy diet and lifestyle to facilitate lessons that carry on past the studio.
In her classes Haley weaves her passion for dance, holistic feminine nature, and music into a practice that reigns the mind into the present moment through vibration and rhythm.

Aleksandra Townsend
Aleksandra teaches both yoga and pilates and loves sharing the practices with students of all ages and abilities. During class you might be lucky enough to learn a little bit of polish, Aleksandra’s native tongue, or you might find that her enthusiasm for dancing has you waltzing right off the end of your mat!

Cayce Lannon
Cayce Lannon is the founder of Maine Kids Yoga, a founding member of the West End Village Studio and a preschool teacher at the West End Village School.
Cayce discovered yoga in 2005 as a way to introduce mindfulness and movement to kids and as a way to carry less stress and more strength in her own life and in the lives of families and individuals.
While her focus is yoga for kids and families, her adult classes are amazing, a beautiful blend of energizing and relaxing! You can catch her subbing the Comprehensive Mobility Class at the East End Community School on Monday Mar 4th at 5:30pm. If you miss her there check out her incredible Restorative Yoga Classes at the West End Village Studio on Sunday nights!
